An important issue facing children and parents today involves the lack of communication and a growing generation gap. Children Activity Coordinators organize informal meetings, parenting seminars, and personal counseling sessions to help children and parents address these issues and understand each other. A helpful program envisioned by Pramukh Swami Maharaj is ghar sabha. Ghar sabha initiates conversation and interaction. It fosters an environment that encourages families to have fun, communicate their concerns, and stay involved with each other’s lives. BAPS teaches children and parents to respect one other, which is ultimately the foundation of many BAPS activities.
