Bhagwan Swaminarayan taught His devotees to lead a life based on faith in God, service to others, and morality. The philosophy of Aksharbrahma-Parabrahma that He revealed is sustained with the eternal presence of Aksharbrahma on Earth. The universal values He preached promoted non-violence, detachment to material wealth, and devotion to God and His sadhu. The moral disciplines He reintroduced to society have built cohesive communities. His teachings continue to reach people today through the work of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
