This December, devotees across North America came together to celebrate Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 97th birth anniversary and experienced an impactful program filled with skits, speeches, and dances centered around the theme Pramukhji Aapnu Roon Chukvu Hu Sha Vade. Devotees participated with a renewed spirit, having experienced a summer with guru Mahant Swami Maharaj and developing a loving bond and affection with him.

The program brought to life divine memories of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.  Devotees in North America had been fortunate to experience Pramukh Swami Maharaj's bliss during his many trips; and this year, they experienced the same happiness as they joined Mahant Swami Maharaj’s vicharan. Through extended participation in assemblies, question and answer sessions, and spiritual discourses based on "Purshottam Boliya Prite," Mahant Swami Maharaj gave all a revitalized spirit of having Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s laabh in person.

Throughout the trip, he reminded all of Pramukh Swami Maharaj's sacrifices, his life's dedication to serving everyone, his vision, his inspiration and his efforts as the source of all successes. In expressing his humble appreciation, Mahant Swami Maharaj emphasized, "Roon chukvaay j nahi," meaning, "we can never repay him," noting Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s immense service for individuals and society.  Mahant Swami Maharaj’s time with the devotees of North America, kept the smruti of Pramukh Swami Maharaj alive and renewed personal satsang with a feeling that Pramukh Swami Maharaj "sathej chhe," that he is indeed still with us.

The celebration inspired attendees as they resolved to imbibe the message of their gurus; “samp” (unity within homes, families, communities, and satsang) and “das na das” (humility in our words and actions).
