In Maharashtra, during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic period, BAPS provided hospital beds, meals and rations to the needy. Having provided about 2,000 hospital beds to Nashik Municipal Corporation, two floors of the New Nashik Corporation Hospital have been named as the ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Ward’ and the ‘Mahant Swami Maharaj Ward’, respectively. Shri Radhakrishnaji Game, Divisional Commissioner, Nashik Division and Dr. Shri Chandrakantji Pulkundwar, Nashik Municipal Commissioner, along with Pujya Kothari Bhaktipriya Swami and Pujya Viveksagar Swami inaugurated these wards.
