BAPS Swaminarayan sadhus, led by Swami Brahmaviharidas, visited Georgia for the first time, inspiring over 700 medical students, professors, and dignitaries during a special event titled “Reinvent Yourself: Dream More. Do More. Be More.” The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Anil Yadav (Attaché, Embassy of India), Dr. Hasmukh Vaghela (Founder–President, Atmia Education), volunteers, and community leaders.
Held in Tbilisi against the backdrop of Georgia’s mountain monasteries, the gathering drew prominent attendees including Mr. Subbu Ramesh (Chargé d’Affaires, Embassy of India), Dr. Goderdzi Buchashvili (Chairman, Council of Higher and General Educational Institutions), Ms. Rusudan Zviadauri (Ministry of Education), and Ms. Meda Tsivtsivadze (Caucasus International University).
Swami Brahmaviharidas centered his address on the power of thought and self-transformation, asking, “What is the most powerful thing in this room?” He emphasized that the greatest strength lies within oneself, sharing a Georgian folk tale about a stonecutter to illustrate self-acceptance and inner power. He concluded with seven values for lasting success: curiosity, clarity, positivity, sincerity, unity, humility, and divinity.
Leaders praised the message. Dr. Buchashvili remarked, “Good education does not just produce professionals; it prevents problems for the nation.” Ms. Zviadauri described the talk as “deeply inspiring,” while Ms. Tsivtsivadze called it “a truly memorable day.”
In Batumi, Swami addressed another 300 attendees, including Dr. Mukhamed Artmeladze, Dr. Kathuna Varshanidze, and Ms. Marina Koridze, inspiring students to embrace compassion, purpose, and inner strength. Medical students Kesar, Nisarg, and Pooja shared how Swami’s teachings reshaped their outlook on challenges, sincerity, and becoming value-driven doctors.
With the blessings and inspiration of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, Swami Brahmaviharidas laid the foundation for new BAPS Culture Centers in both Tbilisi and Batumi, establishing long-term hubs for learning, service, and community upliftment.
