Doctors from some of Mumbai’s renowned and leading super-specialty hospitals attended the Medico-Spiritual Symposium on the theme ‘Healing the Healers’ at the BAPS Mandir in Dadar, Mumbai.
The program commenced with darshan, abhishek, Vedic prayers, and an introductory video on Mahant Swami Maharaj.
In the panel discussion, India’s renowned cardiologist Padma Bhushan Dr. Ashwin Mehta, eminent heart surgeon Dr. Sudhanshu Bhattacharya and distinguished ENT surgeon Dr. Kanti Patel shared their experiences and offered thoughtful insights on the importance of mental health among doctors and how it can be preserved.
Following this, Jnanvatsal Swami provided experiential guidance on how doctors can maintain mental stability and positivity while fulfilling their personal, social, and family responsibilities.
On this occasion, officials from the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC), on behalf of the Maharashtra State Health Department and the Honorable Health Minister, presented a letter of appreciation to BAPS for collecting more than 12 lakh cc of blood during the blood donation camp held on the occasion of Mahant Swami Maharaj’s 92nd birth anniversary in September.
