Women devotees across North America gathered at BAPS Mandirs with devotion and unity to celebrate the birth anniversary of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, reflecting on his life through the lens of the qualities of Aksharbrahma described by Bhagwan Swaminarayan in the Vachanamrut. This year’s program, themed “Vande Pramukh Swaminam,” offered a heartfelt exploration of how these divine virtues manifested in Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s life, as experienced and cherished by women devotees across generations.
The first segment focused on Samdarshi Sant, highlighting how Pramukh Swami Maharaj truly embodied equanimity in every interaction and every moment of his life. His ability to see all with equal vision, beyond differences or distinctions, left a lasting impression on countless women who felt deeply understood, valued, and uplifted in his presence. The program also explored Samarth Thaka Jharna, reflecting on Swamishri’s extraordinary tolerance and humility. Despite being the guru, he consistently lived with profound modesty, accepting challenges with grace and teaching by example how true strength lies in humility.
The celebration continued with reflections on Sarvottam Bhakta, emphasizing how devotion defined Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s every breath. His unwavering bhakti served as a guiding light for women devotees, inspiring them to cultivate devotion within their families, communities, and personal spiritual journeys.
The final theme, Mokshapradata Sant, emphasized Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s role as a sant who grants liberation. Women shared how simply being in his association strengthened their faith, deepened their spiritual understanding, and illuminated the path toward moksha. Through devotional songs, traditional dances, thought-provoking skits, and inspiring speeches, women of all ages offered their heartfelt bhakti in honor of his divine legacy. The celebration encapsulated how Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s virtues continue to guide, protect, and inspire devotees, reaffirming the timeless truth that the Satpurush remains the gateway to spiritual liberation.
