From Thursday 14 August to Sunday 17 August 2025, around 850 yuvaks and yuvatis from around the UK and parts of Europe gathered at Warwick Conference Park for their annual satsang shibir, themed “Parasmani: Discover, Believe, Experience.”
The shibir took place in the presence of visiting swamis from North America and India – Gnanpriyadas Swami, Pujya Atmatruptdas Swami and Dharmasetudas Swami – as well as resident swamis of UK & Europe.
Inspired by Mahant Swami Maharaj’s Diwali ashirwad, the shibir guided participants to move from understanding prapti (what we have attained) to cultivating pratiti (unshakeable conviction).
The title ‘Parasmani’, the philosopher’s stone that turns iron into gold, symbolised that just as iron must touch it to become gold, we, too, must engage with our prapti to experience bliss.
The four-day shibir began with games on Thursday night, building friendships and strengthening samp. From Friday, the shibir unfolded through the three themes.
Day 2: Discover – Realising Our Prapti
Participants explored the extraordinary prapti of Sarvopari Bhagwan Swaminarayan, the Aksharbrahma Guru, and the divine Satsang through presentations, podcasts, and insightful discussions. The day closed with a unique 20-sant panel, sharing light-hearted and heartfelt prasangs of the Satpurush.
Day 3: Believe – Cultivating Conviction
The day explored how to turn understanding into conviction. Sessions addressed barriers to faith, with topics such as ‘Terms and Conditions Apply: My Satsang Mentality’ and ‘Comfortably Lost: Beyond Checking Boxes.’ An interactive game, The Prapti Files, reinforced teamwork, with the day ending through an uplifting kirtan aradhana by Jaydeepbhai Swadia.
Day 4: Experience – Living Our Prapti, Becoming Gold
The final day turned belief into transformation through the fulfilment (krutarthpanu) of living with pratiti, highlighting three outcomes: understanding the virtues of the Satpurush, becoming Akshardham within, and experiencing inner peace.
Through sankirtans and real-life stories, participants were inspired to embody their prapti daily.
The shibir concluded with Mahant Swami Maharaj’s ashirwad, “The Satpurush is your Parasmani.” Participants left with a renewed purpose to not only know prapti, but live, believe, and experience its bliss daily.
The Experience Exhibition
A creative exhibition distilled the theme through features such as the Prapti Tree, reflective scales showing ‘Prapti>Problems,’ and interactive boards and props. Attendees praised it as “brilliantly creative.”
Transformative Impact
Classroom-style sessions by Atmatruptdas Swami and Dharmasetudas Swami “simplified complex concepts into easy-to-understand frameworks,” noted one participant.
The shibir was described as life-changing: “This shibir has changed the way I think, talk, and act. I now understand Satsang far, far better.” Others praised it as “flawless,” “the best shibir I’ve ever been to,” and simply “an experience of a lifetime!”
