This summer, kishores and kishoris from high school and college across North America gathered for a transformative 4-day experience through the Adhiveshan and Summer Shibir, themed “Satsang: The Journey to Rajipo.” The Adhiveshan focused on memorizing selected verses (mukhpath) from sacred texts. Designed to go beyond memorization, the Adhiveshan emphasized cultivating a deeper understanding of mukhpath while deepening their connection with Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the Satpurush.

The purpose of the Adhiveshan was deeply rooted in earning the rajipo (blessings) of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj. It aimed to help participants grasp introductory mukhpath—covering daily rituals, sabha-related items, and personal ahnik practices—while highlighting the importance of comprehension alongside memorization. It also emphasized the real-life value of mukhpath, demonstrating how these teachings could serve as guiding principles and offer grounding in the values of satsang.

The Adhiveshan featured three categories: Prathmik Mukhpath, Purna Mukhpath with Satsang Diksha Challenge, and skills competitions. Completion of the Prathmik Mukhpath was a prerequisite to participate in the other categories. The Purna Mukhpath included various modules built around key satsang themes, drawing from Swamini Vato, Vachanamrut quotations, shlokas and sakhis, Satsang Diksha shlokas, kirtans, and prasangs.

Following these sessions, participants channeled their creativity through a wide range of skills competitions. These skills competitions allowed participants to learn and develop new talents by combining their talents with the mukhpath they memorized. Skills included individual competitions such as art expressions (painting/drawing and 3D art), digital expressions (digital posters and photography), written expressions (article writing), technology expressions (app and website development), cultural expressions (classical dance), solo musical expressions (solo singing, solo wind instrumental, solo string instrumental, solo percussion instrumental), and verbal expressions (Vachanamrut, Swamini Vat, and Satsang Diksha nirupan, visual presentation, and prachar short speech). Group competitions including group musical expressions (group singing and group instrumental).

The event concluded with a message inspiring kishores and kishoris to continue expanding their satsang knowledge and embrace the path of shravan, manan, and nidhidhyas—a journey that leads toward sakshatkar and lifelong spiritual growth.
