In December 2018, the BAPS Mahila wing in North America came together to celebrate the life and work of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj on the 98th anniversary of his birth.
The celebration included a dynamic cultural program developed, directed and presented by women of BAPS. The program included skits featuring children and young adult devotees, dances in traditional Indian and Gujarati dance forms, panels, and speeches in English and Gujarati all centered around the theme of Pramukhji Jivya Am Kaje Sadaye. The program highlighted the impact Pramukh Swami Maharaj had on individuals and communities across the world by dedicating his entire life for the betterment of others. Even after his earthly departure, Pramukh Swami Maharaj continues to have an impact on the lives of thousands around the world. His saintliness, humility, and commitment to service has inspired people all around the world to lead better lives, grounded in timeless spiritual values.
The eternal virtues of Pramukh Swami Maharaj can still be felt today through the current guru of BAPS, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj. Since becoming guru, Mahant Swami Maharaj has conveyed the sheer magnitude of Pramukh Swami Maharaj's sacrifices, dedication to serving others, and vision for the Satsang fellowship.
