With the blessings and inspiration of Pramukh Swami Maharaj the BAPS Children’s Central Cell (Bal Madhyastha Karyalay) in Ahmedabad organized the annual Bal-Balika Karyakar Shibir in Gujarat. The shibirs were held between 30 December 2015 and 17 January 2016 at six BAPS mandirs in Gujarat: Bochasan, Atladra, Ahmedabad, Tithal, Sankari and Gondal. More than 8,000 bal-balika karyakars attended the 12 shibirs.
The central theme of the two-day shibirs was ‘Sadhana’ – spiritual endeavours to anchor oneself with guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The topics on ‘Sadhana’ included daily rituals, niyam-dharma, seva, mahima and samarpan. Senior sadhus, Pujya Doctor Swami and Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami, and Pujya Bhaktavatsal Swami, Pujya Narendraprasad Swami, Pujya Vedagna Swami and Pujya Brahmadarshan Swami inspired the karyakars through their speeches. The shibirs also included video interviews of senior sadhus, workshops, audio-video presentations and a drama, ‘Muktina Mandan’ scripted by Jayendra Vinchi.
Under the aegis of the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj the bal-balika karyakars were inspired through the ‘Sadhana’ shibirs to please Swamishri.
