Titled ‘Akshar-Purushottamne Kaaj: Living the Mahavakyas’ the four-day Siddhant Sarvasvam Shibir for young scholars brought together 185 children and youths (103 boys and 82 girls) from India, the USA, UAE, and Tanzania enrolled in the Satsang Diksha Visharad and Siddhant Sarvasvam courses.
The shibir, in the divine presence of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, was designed to deepen understanding of the Akshar-Purushottam Darshan and inspire the youngsters to imbibe and live the teachings embodied in the four mahavakyas of Brahmaswarup Shastriji Maharaj:
  • ‘Apne to Akshar-Purushottamna baladiya chhiye.’ – We are the oxen (devoted servants) of Akshar-Purushottam.
  • ‘Akshar-Purushottamni vat koi mara matha par besine kare to pan ochhu chhe.’ – Even if someone were to sit on my head while speaking about Akshar-Purushottam, it would still not be too much for me to bear.
  • ‘Akshar-Purushottam mate to vechai jaiye to pan ochhu chhe.’ – Even if we were to sell ourselves completely for the sake of Akshar-Purushottam, it would still be too little.
  • ‘A mundavyu chhe te Akshar-Purushottam mate mundavyu chhe.’ – This head has been shaved for the sake of Akshar-Purushottam.
Through spiritual discourses, workshops, discussions, presentations, and interactive activities, participants explored the historical context, profound meaning, and practical application of these mahavakyas in their daily lives. The sessions developed a deeper conviction in the Akshar-Purushottam Siddhant in the young scholars and strengthened their commitment to seva, satsang, and guru-bhakti.
The scholars received guidance from Pujya Viveksagar Swami, Jnaneshwar Swami, Bhadresh Swami, Atmatrupt Swami, and other learned swamis. Various sessions emphasized scriptural understanding, spiritual conviction, and the importance of dedicating one’s efforts towards the service of Akshar and Purushottam.
A notable feature of the shibir was the scholarly presentations delivered by students of the Siddhant Sarvasvam course. Drawing from the Swaminarayan Bhashya, the Vachanamrut, Upanishads, and other scriptural sources, participants confidently presented key philosophical concepts and demonstrated their growing proficiency in Sanskrit and scriptural studies.
Throughout the shibir, the participants were blessed with the darshan and guidance of Mahant Swami Maharaj. Following Swamishri’s daily puja, the children received his blessings and were inspired by his affectionate encouragement. These memorable moments reinforced the values of devotion, discipline, and dedication that form the foundation of their spiritual and academic journey.
During one assembly with Swamishri, three-year-old Parambhai Vaghela, the youngest participant, recited the Siddhant Karika from memory, while students from various courses shared their learning through presentations. Appreciating their remarkable achievements, Swamishri remarked, “If they are shattering all records right now, what won’t they achieve in the future!”
Parents of the participants attended a special gathering on the concluding day, where they witnessed the academic and spiritual growth of the young scholars. The children also organized presentations on the Akshar-Purushottam Darshan, drawing upon the Vedas, Upanishads, Vachanamrut, and other sacred texts. Their ability to articulate profound philosophical concepts with clarity and conviction left the audience deeply impressed.
The shibir culminated in a vibrant and spiritually uplifting assembly themed “Amraphalo Ame Mahantjina” (We Are the Mangoes of Mahant Swami Maharaj). Through inspiring presentations, devotional performances, and engaging activities, the young scholars reflected on their transformative journey of spiritual learning and growth. The assembly beautifully portrayed how, under the guidance and blessings of Mahant Swami Maharaj, these children have blossomed into disciplined, virtuous, and devoted individuals rooted in the Akshar-Purushottam tradition.
The highlight of the event was Mahant Swami Maharaj’s personal participation in the celebrations, which filled the children with immense joy and enthusiasm. Showering his blessings upon them, Swamishri encouraged the young scholars to continue their scriptural studies with sincerity, humility, and a deep understanding of the glory of Bhagwan and guru.
The event concluded at the sacred Yagnapurush Smruti Mandir, where all participants resolved to imbibe the lessons learned during the shibir and apply them in their daily lives.
