This December, sadhus and devotees celebrated the 93rd birthday of beloved guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj at more than 70 BAPS centers across North America. The celebrations centered on the theme "Ekaj Aashaa Chhe aa jivatarni", eloquently stating, “One goal, One life, One Guru.”
Throughout his life, Pramukh Swami has faithfully and dutifully served the BAPS Sanstha, its devotees, and communities without the slightest consideration for his personal health and well-being. He does so with the singular goal of pleasing God and his gurus Shastriji Maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj. In doing so, he has set an example for devotees as they journey along their paths to Moksha, life’s ultimate goal.
Celebrating his janma jayanti, devotees enjoyed the celebrations which included entertaining and enlightening examples from Pramukh Swami’s life highlighting his service to God and Guru. Devotees parted after the celebrations with renewed inspiration to persevere in attaining their one goal, under the guiding light of their cherished guru, Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
