Shastriji Maharaj was a great person who revealed the knowledge and glory of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and a sadhu’s true path. Everywhere one sees the upasana of Bhakta and Bhagwan. One has to emulate Radha to offer bhakti to Krishna, Sita to offer bhakti to Ram, and Parvati to do puja of Shiv. This is an ancient tradition. After a traditional dance by children a drama portraying Shastriji Maharaj in the eyes of dignitaries was performed. Finally, Swamishri blessed the devotees, “The shastras have prescribed, ‘There is no moksha without knowledge.’ We find that the means to moksha are austerity, charity, yagna, etc. If they are done selflessly, with no worldly desires, then one attains moksha.”
