The divine manifestation of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Shri Ramachandra was joyously celebrated with a host of devotional festivities and a colourful cultural programme at all BAPS mandirs and centres around the UK and in Europe.
Themed ‘Purushottam Pragati Re’, the programme provided an opportunity for thousands of devotees and guests to understand how Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Ramachandra were replete with all virtues, free from all faults, and the source of supreme bliss – drawing upon the teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan in Vachanamrut Gadhada III 10.
Many of the mandirs and centres had children and youths present the vibrant programme through a colourful array of enlightening skits, vibrant dances, eloquent bhajans, and uplifting presentations that recreated defining moments from history. The performances were delivered across various thematic segments, each focusing on different aspects of Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s and Bhagwan Rama’s life and teachings.
Many mandirs and centres also offered an opportunity for darshan, pujan, and family photos with large images of Bal Prabhu Ghanshyam Maharaj and Shri Rama Lalla.
The festivities concluded with the janmotsav arti for Bhagwan Shri Ramachandra and Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan.
