The auspicious Hindu festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was joyously celebrated at all BAPS Swaminarayan mandirs across the UK and Europe.
The day was filled with a multitude of devotional activities, including the ceremonial ‘annakut’ offering, soulful singing and chanting, and an arti commemorating Shri Krishna Bhagwan’s divine birth.
An insightful evening cultural programme of bhajans and discourses delved into the teachings and narratives of Shri Krishna Bhagwan as detailed in the Shrimad Bhagwad Gita, Bhagwat Puran and Mahabharat, highlighting how they guide individuals towards a spiritually fulfilling and purposeful way of life.
