About the Book:

In Love, At Ease: Everyday Spirituality with Pramukh Swami published by Penguin Randomhouse India presents a unique take on the life of a guru who was one of the most renowned spiritual masters and social reformers of his time. It is intimate, real, and relatable. It weaves together interactions of thousands of people from diverse communities and nations to highlight the timelessness and universality of the spiritual lessons from the guru’s life. The author peppers the book with several of his own interactions while growing up, learning, faltering, and standing back up in the guru’s presence. This encourages the reader to reflect on his or her own time with the spiritual master. It is a personal, heartfelt recollection that does not just belong to the author, but to the millions of people who had felt Pramukh Swami’s humanly divine presence over the past 100 years and will continue to do so for generations to come.
The book shares scores of unheard incidents from the guru’s life. The book is a perfect read for those who want to learn more about Pramukh Swami’s life and at once for those who want to learn about everyday spirituality from a guru, who was the epitome of love, service, humility, inclusiveness, and easy, accessible spirituality. The book was written upon instruction from His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, who has penned the Foreword.
