"Sanskar Sinchan" - When it comes to develop the child's character strength, inner security, unique personal and interpersonal talents and skills, no institution can or ever will compare with, or substitute for, like factual life events of a great ideal.
With the same objective, BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir had organized a written inter-school competition ‘Sanskar Sinchan’, which incorporated life incidents of Pramukh Parimal to grace the auspicious occasion, i.e. the 99th birth anniversary of HDH Pramukhswami Maharaj. The life events of Pramukhswami Maharaj were imprinted in the book titled ‘Pramukh Parimal’ which helped the students to imbibe moral values of life.
Students of classes 5 to 8 had participated from different schools of Vadodara. Total 631 students from 18 different schools had participated. The competition was conducted at two levels. The first three winners of each school were rewarded with shields in the first level held at their schools. The final round was held in the premises of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Atladara. Wherein these three winners across all the schools also participated. The final winners were given cash rewards.
The event, rightly as per its title- ‘Sanskar Sinchan’ really proved to be fruitful in nurturing cultural values in young minds.
