During a personal meeting in the evening, Mr. Jim Karygiannis, M.P. for Canada, praised the earthquake relief work of BAPS. Swamishri blessed him.
21 February 2001: (V.S. 2057, Maha Vad 13) Wednesday, Amdavad, Maha Shivratri, Kishore Day
After Thakorji's darshan in the mandir, Swamishri performed puja and arti of Shivlinga in the Ganapati shrine.
In the evening assembly, the kishores presented a small drama emphasizing the need to read Satsang literature and a debate 'What does one achieve in studying!' In his blessings Swamishri underlined the importance of Para and Apara Vidya (spiritual and temporal knowledge) for a balanced life.

In the evening assembly a drama 'Aeva Thaiye ..' presented the steadfastness of Sagaram Vaghri and 'paksh' of Gangaram Mal for Bhagwan Swaminarayan.

In the evening, Swamishri was engaged in a meeting on BAPS rehabilitation program for the earthquake affected areas.

Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha of Akshar Purushottam Maharaj, Radha Krishna Dev, Ganapatiji, Hanumanji and Guru Prarampara at the newly constructed Hari-mandir in Satellite - a suburb of Amdavad. Swamishri also blessed the assembly and Lord Harikrishna Maharaj was honored by the devotees.

Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha of a Hari-mandir in Kadi and then addressed the assembly.
