BAPS wellNESS Health Convention
Volunteers welcomed attendees at the registration desk and provided convention passes and materials upon arrival.
The BAPS wellNESS Health Convention was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by invited speakers and volunteers.
Mr Mit Dattani, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon, led the opening session of the BAPS wellNESS Health Convention.
Delegates viewed a video message of blessings and inspiration from His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj during the opening session of the convention.
Yogvivekdas Swami spoke on the importance of Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, and Stress Management, and the role of faith in promoting holistic well-being.
In a video address, Rt Hon Wes Streeting MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, acknowledged the impact of the BAPS wellNESS initiative on community health and well-being.
Professor Sejal Saglani, Head of BAPS Healthcare Services UK, spoke about the BAPS wellNESS initiative, which recently received the ‘Health & Well-Being’ award at the London Dangoor Awards 2025, for its outstanding service to Greater London’s communities.
Dr Niket Patel, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, spoke on heart health and the importance of lifestyle changes in disease prevention.
Delegates filled the assembly hall, listening attentively to expert-led talks delivered throughout the convention.
Dr Alexandra Pender, Consultant Medical Oncologist, spoke on cancer awareness, prevention, and the importance of early detection.
