More than 350 youths from Navsari participated in a four-day Yuva Shibir in Nashik based on the theme ‘Mara Guru, Maru Jivan’ (My Guru, My Life). The shibir emphasized placing the guru at the heart of one’s existence and making his teachings the guiding compass for all of life’s decisions.
On 31 May, learned swamis delivered discourses on prapti (attainment), observing niyams and dharma, using social media with restraint and discretion, understanding Bhagwan’s all-doership and other key spiritual topics. Interactive workshops, skits, videos, quizzes, and activities deepened the youths’ understanding of aligning their thoughts and actions with their guru’s principles.
In the evening, the youths engaged in an inspiring dialogue with acclaimed actor Shri Dilip Joshi, who shared his experiences of navigating the materialistic world while staying anchored in spiritual values. He explained how steadfast adherence to niyams brings him peace and strength, attributing this bliss to walking the path illuminated by gurus Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj.
On 1 June, the shibir continued with sessions until noon. Afterwards, the youths embarked on darshan of the holy shrines in Nashik, culminating in the divine experience of the evening arti on the banks of the Godavari River in Panchavati.
The final day, 2 June, was dedicated to strengthening friendships and unity with a fun trip to Imagica Amusement Park.
