During the winter break in December 2023, Southeastern Kishores gathered in Nashville, TN, to participate in the annual sports tournament. The highlight was the Yogi Cup basketball tournament, which was exclusively for kishores aged 14-22, aimed to promote the principles of unity, solidarity, and oneness, which were dear to Yogiji Maharaj. These principles were the cornerstone of the tournament, ensuring that Kishores consistently engaged in them. This engagement nurtured interpersonal skills like teamwork, leadership, and collaboration during the three-day event.
The Yogi Cup provided a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere where kishores not only experience personal competition but also establish lifelong connections with their fellow kishores. This tournament is an opportunity for kishores to grow together in their pursuit of satsang and is a testament to the vision of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj, upheld by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the current spiritual leader of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
