The sacred Narayan Sarovar lake in Chansad, the birthplace of Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj, has been renovated by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism.
To commemorate Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s birthday, on 7 December 2022, this sacred Narayan Sarovar was inaugurated by Pujya Viveksagar Swami.
The lake also includes beautiful spots to enjoy like Snan Ghat, an exhibition and video show on the life and work of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and other attractions.
Arrangements are also available to perform asthi visarjan, first tonsuring of young children and other sacred rituals near the lake.
Daily at 7.00 p.m., a maha arti will be performed at Narayan Sarovar in honor of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj sent a letter of blessings that all noble wishes will be fulfilled here, and that all the saints and devotees should visit for darshan.
