Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 99th birthday was celebrated with an absorbing three-hour program that combined the physical and the virtual worlds and paid homage to his divine, saintly life.
With the coronavirus pandemic preventing in-person celebrations, 3D animations and special effects were used to create the virtual stage and settings of the celebration in the Himalayan mountains, the abode of the great sages of ancient India.
The great sages of ancient India have revealed the eternal qualities of a true saint. Based on the personal experiences of revered modern spiritual leaders, the celebration highlighted Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s qualities of transparency, purity, serenity, cultural sustenance, universal selfless love and profound devotion to God.
Expanding upon the words of renowned modern sages – Pujya Swami Shri Chidanandji Maharaj, Pujya Swami Shri Atmanandji, Pujya Swami Shri Satyamitranandgiriji Maharaj, Pujya Pejavar Swami Shri Visveshtirthji Maharaj and Pujya Swami Shri Balgangadharnathji – senior and learned BAPS swamis in different locations were presented on the same virtual stage to deliver speeches on these qualities. At the end, Pragat Brahmaswarup Mahant Swami Maharaj blessed all.
The celebration assembly also featured insightful videos, thematic dances, Vedic prayers, mantra-pushpanjali and arti.
The captivating program was broadcast in Hindi and English both online and via terrestrial TV to a worldwide audience.

બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજના ૯૯મા જન્મજયંતી મહોત્સવની શાનદાર ઊજવણી દ્વારા તા. ૨૨ ડિસેમ્બર ૨૦૨૦ના રોજ તેઓનાં ચરણે ભવ્ય અને દિવ્ય ભાવાંજલિ અર્પણ કરવામાં આવી હતી. નેનપુર ખાતે બિરાજતા પરમ પૂજ્ય મહંત સ્વામી મહારાજ અને જુદા જુદા સ્થળોઍ રહેલા અન્ય સંતોને વર્ચ્યુઅલ ટેક્નોલોજીના માધ્યમથી ઍક જ મંચ પર લાવીને પ્રસ્તુત થયેલા આ કાર્યક્રમને લાખો ભક્તોઍ ઓનલાઈન પ્રસારણ દ્વારા માણ્યો હતો અને સ્વામીશ્રીનાં ચરણે ભાવઅર્ઘ્ય અર્પણ કર્યું હતું.
પ્રાચીન ભારતના મહાન ઋષિઓએ સાચા સંતને નીરખવાની એક શાશ્વત દૃષ્ટિ આપી છે. એટલે જ જાણે સમગ્ર જન્મજયંતીનો કાર્યક્રમ પ્રાચીન ભારતના એવા ઋષિઓની તપોભૂમિ હિમાલયમાં, એવા ઋષિઓના સાન્નિધ્યમાં, એવવા સાચા ગુણાતીત સંત પ્રમુખ સ્વામી મહારાજનો આ જન્મજયંતીનો મંચ વર્ચ્યુઅલ ટેકનોલોજીનાં માધ્યમથી રચવામાં આવ્યો હતો. આધુનિક સમયના એવા જ ઋષિ તુલ્ય મહાન સંતોએ એવી દૃષ્ટિ આપીને પરમ પૂજ્ય પ્રમુખ સ્વામી મહારાજને નીરખવાનો એક અનોખો દૃષ્ટિકોણ આપ્યો છે. જેમાં તેઓની પારદર્શિતા, પવિત્રતા, શાંતિદાયક પ્રશાંત સ્થિતિ, સંસ્કૃતિ સેવા, જન જન પ્રત્યે નિ:સ્વાર્થ પ્રેમ અને નિરાળી ભગવાનમય પ્રતિભાનું દર્શન થાય છે. પૂજ્ય સ્વામી શ્રી ચિદાનંદજી મહારાજ, પૂજ્ય સ્વામીશ્રી આત્માનંદજી, પૂજ્ય સ્વામી શ્રી સત્યમિત્રાનંદગિરિજી મહારાજ, પૂજ્ય પેજાવર સ્વામી શ્રી વિશ્વેશતીર્થજી મહારાજ, પૂજ્ય સ્વામી શ્રી બાલગંગાધરનાથજી વગેરે આધુનિક યુગના મહાન સંતોનાં સ્વનુભાવોના કથન પર બી.એ.પી.એસ. સ્વામિનારાયણ સંસ્થાના વિદ્વાન સંતોએ અદ્ભુત અને મનનીય વક્તવ્યોનો લાભ આપ્યો હતો. અંતે પરમ પૂજ્ય મહંત સ્વામી મહારાજે આશીર્વચનો ઉચ્ચાર્યા હતાં. અક્ષરદેરીમાં વૈદિક મંત્રગાન, માંગલિક નૃત્યો, મંત્રપુષ્પાંજલિ, આરતી વગેરેથી આ કાર્યક્રમ વિશેષ અલંકૃત બન્યો હતો. બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખ સ્વામી મહારાજના દિવ્ય સંસ્મરણોમાં લાખો લોકોને ભાવવિભોર કરનાર આ કાર્યક્રમ બી.એ.પી.એસ. સ્વામિનારાયણ સંસ્થાનીની એક અનોખી પ્રસ્તુતિ સમાન બની રહ્યો હતો.
