BAPS Mandirs across North America celebrated the 98th birthday of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The celebrations, centered around the theme, Param Anand paid tribute to the life and work of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and allowed the devotees to express their sentiments and gratitude.
Personifying his motto, "In the joy of others, lies our own,” Pramukh Swami Maharaj dedicated his life to the service of society. Pramukh Swami Maharaj inspired thousands through his spirituality, humility and dedication to service. Through personal interactions with devotees, Pramukh Swami Maharaj encouraged individuals to lead value-based lives based on the ancient wisdom of the Vedic scriptures. His practical guidance helped devotees to balance spirituality with the pressures of school, work and family life. His love, care, patience, self-restraint, and service to others, inspired people to imbibe these same virtues in their own lives.
The cultural program on the occasion of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 98th birthday shared personal memories of devotees, both young and old. Through stage performances, speeches, devotional music, and multi-media presentations, the program celebrated Pramukh Swami Maharaj's timeless spiritual teachings and wisdom.
The celebration left attendees with an appreciation of Pramukh Swami Maharaj's life work and teachings. The celebration theme, Param Anand inspired attendees to find purpose and joy in the service of others.
