Devotees and community leaders alike gathered to pay homage to the pure life of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Liberal party member for Parramatta Geoff Lee, Federal Labor member for Parramatta Julie Owens, member for Greenway Michelle Rowland and representatives of various religious and community organizations attended the special ceremony.
To pay homage to Pramukh Swami Maharaj, Liberal member for Parramatta Geoff Lee had led a condolence movement in the NSW legislative assembly.
In paying his respects during the tribute assembly, Mr. Lee said, “It is an honor and privilege to be here representing the NSW premiere Mike Baird on this solemn occasion to mark the passing of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and pay tribute to his timeless contribution to the world. I offer my sincere condolences to the entire BAPS community and pass on the condolences of Premiere Baird and the entire NSW government.”
