Pujya Anandswarup Swami and senior sadhus traditionally welcomed Israeli President H.E Reuven Rivlin with a garland of flowers.
Accompanying the Israeli President was the First Lady of Israel, Nechama Rivlin, who was traditionally welcomed with a garland of flowers by senior members of Swaminarayan Akshardham. In addition, members of the Israeli delegation to India joined the visit.
After marveling at the Mayur Dwar (Peacock Gate), the President and First Lady viewed the Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir where they offered their respects and admired the Mandir’s art and architecture.
Touched by the universal messages of peace and harmony, they also offered their best wishes for world peace.
Sharing his sentiments at Akshardham, President of the State of Israel, H.E. Reuven Rivlin, wrote, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May all love thee prosper. May all be blessed.”
Sharing her experience of Akshardham, First Lady of Israel, Nechama Rivlin, wrote, “On a nice and pleasant evening, we came to visit the Akshardham Temple and we stay speechless because of the beauty of this important and divine place.”
