Murti Pratishtha celebrations of two new Mandirs in Katargam (Surat), in Gujarat, were held on 26th and 27th January, 2013.
On the morning of 26th January, 2013, a Vishwashanti Mahayagna was held in which more than 2,000 Yajmaans participated and prayed for world peace.
In the evening, a grand Nagar Yatra of the Murtis to be consecrated in both mandirs was organized around the city.
A satsang sabha was held that night in which, among other programs, a play on the importance of Mandirs in society was presented.
On 27th Jan, 2013, amid vedic rituals, the murtis previously sanctified by Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj were consecrated in the new Mandirs by Pujya Mahant Swami, Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami and other senior sadhus. Later a sabha was organized followed by mahaprasad for all the 32,000 devotees present on this joyous occasion.
