બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજની પ્રેરક પ્રસંગ-સ્મૃતિઓ

આજના દિવસે વિદ્યાનગરમાં આવેલા બી.એ.પી.એસ. છાત્રાલયમાં રહીને અભ્યાસ કરી રહેલા 250થી વધારે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ખાસ દર્શન કરવા માટે આવ્યા હતા. આ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પૈકીના 185થી વધારે વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ધારણાં-પારણાં વગેરે વ્રત કર્યાં હતાં. સ્વામીશ્રી પૂજા દરમ્યાન સભામંડપમાં આ સૌ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ બેઠા હતા. સ્વામીશ્રીને આ વાતનો ખ્યાલ આવતાં જ પૂજાના અંત ભાગમાં એક સંતને બોલાવીને કહ્યું : ‘જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ધારણાં-પારણાં કર્યાં હોય એ સૌ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ઊભા થાય એવું એનાઉન્સમેન્ટ કરાવો.’
પ્રવક્તાએ જાહેરાત કરી એટલે વ્રતધારી સૌ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ઊભા થયા. સ્વામીશ્રીએ અમીદૃષ્ટિ કરીને સૌને આશીર્વાદ આપ્યા.

Don't blame someone else for one's own mistakes
“If, while offering bhakti to God, one commits a mistake, one should not blame someone else for that fault. Indeed, it is the very nature of all people that when they are at fault, they claim, ‘I made a mistake because someone else misled me; but I am not really at fault.’ One who says this, though, is an utter fool. After all, others may say, ‘Go and jump into a well!’ Then, by such words, should one really jump into a well? Of course not. Therefore, the fault lies only in the person who does the wrong, but he blames others nonetheless.”
