પુણ્યકીર્તન સ્વામી કહે : ‘પ્રવૃત્તિમાં એવું જોવા મળે કે જે સહન કરે એને વધારે ને વધારે સહન કરવાનું થાય. કાર્યકરોમાં પણ જે ઘસાતા હોય એને વધારે સેવા મળે.’
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : “ભગવાનને રાજી કરવાનો વિચાર હોય એટલે ઘસારો વધારે પડે તોય વાંધો ન આવે, બાકી પેલાને કહીએ તોય કરે નહીં; કારણ, મનમાં જ ન હોય. ‘હોતા હૈ, ચલતા હૈ, ચાલે છે’ એમ જ રહે, પણ ભગવાનને રાજી કરવાનું તાન હોય એ બધી રીતે ખટકો રાખે.”

Guidance on How one should Serve God and His Devotees
“When a person who wishes to worship God receives an opportunity to serve God and His devotees, he should serve them considering it to be his extremely great fortune. Moreover, he should do so only with bhakti, for the sake of pleasing God and for his own liberation – not for the sake of receiving praise from others.”
