Swamishri performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a new Swaminarayan Mandir in Jambusar.
At 6.40 pm Swamishri arrived at Ankhi and, on the Sanstha's land for a new mandir, discoursed to the devotees.
At 7.07 pm Swamishri arrived at Gajera, inaugurated a water tank and performed arti on the occasion of the opening anniversary (patotsav) of the Swaminarayan mandir.
At 9.30pm Swamishri returned to Jambusar.
Wherever Swamishri is, his sheer spiritual magnetism is incredible. People throng to see him, to be blessed by him and to hear his pacifying discourses. Swamishri's morning and evening walk attract a large number of devotees and aspirants. The place, environment and people vary according to Swamishri's itinerary. From the soothing, sedate, rustic suroundings to the noisy, active urban atmosphere, people look upto him with a common pulse of reverence, respect and sometimes curiosity. The orchestra of people who watch him walk include children, teenagers, youths, old men and women. They watch him with satisfaction and love from any place they can find - be it a side walk, a verandah, a gallery, a cart or a parapet...
The reason why so many people watch Swamishri during his daily walk is a phenomenon of faith and a reflection of his untiring services in elevating society.
