BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir – Junagadh is a value-centred educational initiative of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, envisioned to nurture young minds through a balanced blend of academic excellence, moral development, and spiritual inspiration. Here, education is not merely taught—it is experienced with purpose, meaning, and character.
The vision took its sacred beginning with the Bhumi Pujan on 5th May 2016, performed by Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, Pujya Doctor Swami, and Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami, sanctifying the land and laying a divine foundation for the institution.
The journey progressed with the auspicious Khāt Muhurt on 15th December 2019, marking the formal commencement of the campus development.
Set across 12+ acres, the Vidyamandir campus embodies serenity, discipline, and spiritual warmth. Designed to meet the needs of modern education, it features 50+ smartboard-enabled classrooms and is guided by a dedicated team of 125+ qualified educators, committed to nurturing both intellect and character.
On 3rd May 2022, the school was ceremoniously inaugurated by Pujya Kothari Swami, opening its doors to students with a mission of delivering holistic growth, value-based learning, and disciplined academic excellence.
A historic milestone was etched on 11th October 2024, when Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj graced the Vidyamandir. His presence filled the entire campus with divine joy, inspiration, and blessings, uplifting students, educators, and devotees alike.

BAPS Swaminarayan Gurukul – Junagadh provides a safe, disciplined, and nurturing residential environment for boys studying in Standards 6 to 12 at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir – Junagadh, across both English and Gujarati mediums, supporting the Science and Commerce streams.
The Gurukul is not just a place to stay, but a vibrant environment where academic focus, physical well-being, and strong moral values are seamlessly integrated. Students are guided to develop honest and sincere values, discipline, and respect for others, shaping them into principled and responsible individuals.
A historic and spiritually significant milestone was marked on 11 October 2024, when HH Mahant Swami Maharaj graciously visited the Gurukul. His divine presence inspired students, staff, and devotees alike, blessing the environment with His wisdom, compassion, and guidance. This day remains a cherished memory, motivating students to uphold discipline, dedication, service, and integrity in all aspects of life.
Guided by the ideals of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and blessed by HH Mahant Swami Maharaj, the Gurukul serves as a true home away from home—shaping students into confident, honest, and value-oriented individuals.
