BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir – Junagadh is a value-centred educational initiative of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, envisioned to nurture young minds through a balanced blend of academic excellence, moral development, and spiritual inspiration. Here, education is not merely taught—it is experienced with purpose, meaning, and character.
The vision took its sacred beginning with the Bhumi Pujan on 5th May 2016, performed by Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, Pujya Doctor Swami, and Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami, sanctifying the land and laying a divine foundation for the institution.
The journey progressed with the auspicious Khāt Muhurt on 15th December 2019, marking the formal commencement of the campus development.
Set across 12+ acres, the Vidyamandir campus embodies serenity, discipline, and spiritual warmth. Designed to meet the needs of modern education, it features 50+ smartboard-enabled classrooms and is guided by a dedicated team of 125+ qualified educators, committed to nurturing both intellect and character.
On 3rd May 2022, the school was ceremoniously inaugurated by Pujya Kothari Swami, opening its doors to students with a mission of delivering holistic growth, value-based learning, and disciplined academic excellence.
A historic milestone was etched on 11th October 2024, when Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj graced the Vidyamandir. His presence filled the entire campus with divine joy, inspiration, and blessings, uplifting students, educators, and devotees alike.
