The divine manifestations of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Shri Ramachandra were joyously celebrated with a host of devotional festivities and vibrant cultural programmes at BAPS mandirs and centres across the UK and in Europe.
This year’s celebrations provided an opportunity for thousands of devotees and guests to reflect on the transformative power of God’s grace, exploring how Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Rama have uplifted and transformed countless lives. Through inspiring narratives and spiritual insights, the programmes highlighted how faith and devotion can bring profound inner change, purpose, and lasting joy.
Many mandirs and centres featured a colourful cultural programme delivered by children and youths themed ‘Naam Ratan’. The programme was organised into three core elements – Shakti, Bhakti, and Mukti – each reflecting a different aspect of engaging in the divine name of Bhagwan. It explored the transformative power of God’s name to protect and fulfil a devotee’s life, how God’s name becomes a constant refuge in every situation, and how God’s name ultimately guides one to his divine abode, while also enabling one to experience Akshardham here and now through his manifest form. Together, these themes provided a clear and accessible reflection on the importance of chanting God’s name in daily spiritual practice and its lasting impact on both personal and collective devotion.
Many mandirs and centres also offered opportunities for darshan, pujan, and family photos with images of Bal Prabhu Ghanshyam Maharaj and Shri Rama Lalla, allowing visitors to engage in devotion in a personal and memorable way.
Devotees also celebrated the janmotsav artis of Bhagwan Shri Ramachandra and Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan, marking their divine births with devotion and joy.
