The auspicious birth anniversaries of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Shri Ram were celebrated by women devotees at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandirs across North America through a devotional program centered on the theme, “Preme Pragatya Re,” celebrating Bhagwan’s boundless love for His devotees.
The program presented how Bhagwan incarnates on earth out of compassion, with the ultimate purpose of granting moksha, or liberation, while also guiding devotees, through His own life and actions, to live pure, noble, and virtuous lives.
The life of Bhagwan Shri Ram was presented through the many relationships in which His love was expressed. As an ideal son, He honored and respected His parents with complete sincerity, offering a lasting example for both youth and families today. As an ideal husband, the sacred and enduring bond between Bhagwan Shri Ram and Sitaji, as well as Laxmanji and Urmilaji, reflected values of loyalty, sacrifice, and mutual respect. Across every role He fulfilled, Bhagwan Shri Ram demonstrated how to live an ideal life while guiding others with compassion and care.
Similarly, the life of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan highlighted His profound love for devotees through the gift of true gnan, or knowledge, and a spiritual connection that transcends the material world. Through His interactions, teachings, and genuine care for each individual, Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan established a relationship rooted in eternal well-being. This same spiritual connection continues today through the guidance of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, through whom devotees continue to experience Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan’s presence and love.
Women of all ages offered their devotion through a vibrant cultural program featuring devotional songs, traditional dances, thoughtful skits, and inspiring speeches. The performances brought forward the message of the theme in thoughtful and engaging ways, adding to the devotional atmosphere of the celebration and highlighting the spirit of divine love.
