Women’s Day – Mwanza, TZ - Give To Gain
On 25 April at 7:30 p.m., BAPS Women’s Day was joyfully celebrated at BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha Mandir in Mwanza, Tanzania, under the inspiring theme, “Give to Gain.” A total of 261 women and girls of all ages attended this uplifting event.
The evening featured a vibrant blend of cultural and spiritual programs, including devotional singing, elegant classical dance, energetic Rajasthani dance, and joyful garba performances. Attendees were also enriched by an insightful presentation on Garbh Sanskar by Dr. Shikha Kapoor, which emphasized the importance of values and spiritual nurturing from the earliest stages of life.
Two meaningful dramas added depth to the celebration—one based on a powerful teaching from Yogiji Maharaj’s Bodh Katha, and another highlighting the remarkable achievement of BAPS receiving a Guinness World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Hindu Text Recital.
The Women’s Day celebration beautifully embodied the message that by giving through seva, culture, knowledge, and devotion, one truly gains spiritual growth and fulfillment.
