High school and college girls from across North America came together for this year’s Amrut Cup Volleyball Tournament. Teams competed in fast-paced matches while exemplifying the values of samp (unity), suhradbhav (solidarity), and ekta (oneness) — timeless principles taught by Yogiji Maharaj. More than just a sporting event, the tournament created a vibrant environment where participants strengthened their bonds with one another while striving together toward a common goal.
Throughout the tournament, satsang was woven into every aspect of the experience. Each day began and concluded with aarti and cheshta, complemented by thoughtfully planned morning and evening sessions that encouraged reflection, gratitude, and spiritual growth. These moments grounded the athletes in purpose, reminding them that competition and cooperation go hand in hand when guided by shared values.
The Amrut Cup also reflects the vision of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, continuing the legacy of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj to nurture well-rounded, values-driven youth. Through initiatives like this, kishoris and yuvatis are inspired to stay engaged in weekly sabhas, summer conventions, and community service, developing leadership, teamwork, and character alongside their spiritual growth.
By the tournament’s end, the victories extended far beyond the scoreboard. Participants returned home with renewed friendships, deeper connections to their Guru, and a lasting commitment to carry the ideals of unity, solidarity, and oneness into their schools, families, and communities, making the Amrut Cup a truly transformative experience.
