Over 350 yuvaks and yuvatis from BAPS Mandir in Bhavnagar participated in its annual Yuva Shibir and Yatra. Themed ‘Connection with the Manifest Satpurush’, the five-day event began in Gondal on 23 October, where they received Mahant Swami Maharaj’s blessings.

Pilgrimage (Yatra)

The pilgrimage, on 24 and 25 October, included visits to Bharuch, Sankari, Dhule (Maharashtra) and Varkhede Village – where they visited spots sanctified by Shastriji Maharaj and participated in a bullock cart procession.

Shibir at Nagpur

The shibir was held in Nagpur on 26 and 27 October.
During the shibir, learned swamis presented speeches and workshops on the glory of the Gunatit parampara, the manifest Satpurush – Mahant Swami Maharaj, increasing love for and faith in the Satpurush, the key to becoming brahmarup, and other topics.
The presentations also emphasized the importance of obeying agna, observing brahmacharya, and discretion in using mobile phones, the internet and social media.
In an evening session, the youths participated in an entertaining and enlightening online spiritual quiz titled ‘Kon Banega Jnanpati?’
A special separate session for the yuvatis was also organized.
The shibir strengthened the faith of the youths and they pledged to sincerely observe satsang principles in their daily lives to please guru Mahant swami Maharaj.
The return journey included visits to Jabalpur (Mahant Swami Maharaj’s birthplace), Pachmarhi, Ujjain Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar.
