During their summer vacations, a total of 850 yuvaks and 860 yuvatis participated in the 7-day Yuva Gnansatras conducted at 19 BAPS shikharbaddha mandirs across Gujarat and Maharashtra. The youths attending the Gnansatras stayed at the mandir for seven days and engaged in various programs as per the schedule designed by the Satsang Pravrutti Central Office in Ahmedabad.
The program included guidance and training on Vachanamrut study, spiritual discourse preparations, memorization (mukhpath), story narration, public speaking and other practical topics.
Enlightening discourses, workshops and discussions by sadhus and volunteers on the Akshar-Purushottam upasana, inspiring stories of devotees and a variety of spiritual topics imparted invaluable lessons. Furthermore, interviews with dedicated volunteers and senior devotees guided and inspired the youths towards incorporating devotion and service in their daily lives.
Also, through videos and Q&A sessions, the youths experienced the divine presence and guidance of guruhari Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj.
In addition to the daily knowledge-based sessions, the youths engaged in seva activities and sports.
After six days of in-depth learning at the mandirs, the seventh day involved a one-day rural satsang outreach in which all the youths visited nearby villages, building rapport with local devotees. The youths also conducted de-addiction camps, inspiring many to give up their addictions.
Thus, the 7-day Yuva Gnansatras provided the youths valuable practical guidance to apply in their daily lives.
