The BAPS Yogi Cup Tournament, an annual sports event, united youths ages 14–30 from centers across North America. More than a competition, the tournament was rooted in the values of samp, suhradbhav, and ekta, inspired by Yogiji Maharaj. These principles shaped the atmosphere of the event, bringing together geographically dispersed kishores and yuvaks in a spirit of teamwork, friendship, and oneness.
Throughout the tournament, participants experienced both athletic and spiritual growth. Daily practices such as arti, cheshta, and thoughtfully planned morning and evening sessions helped youths connect sportsmanship with satsang values. The structure of the event encouraged leadership, discipline, collaboration, and personal reflection, ensuring that the lessons learned on the court carried into their lives, studies, careers, and seva.
Guided by the ongoing vision of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the Yogi Cup continued to build on the legacy of Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The 2025–2026 tournament served as a platform for youths to deepen their spirituality, strengthen their connection with their guru, and build meaningful bonds, while experiencing the joy of competition and the unity that defined Yogi Cup.
