Several hundred devotees and well-wishers participated in the mahapuja performed for the foundation-laying of the 45-foot Tapomurti Shri Nilkanth Varni at the BAPS Mandir in Johannesburg.
As part of this ceremony participants placed cement onto the foundation bricks.
The murti will be inaugurated in January 2026 by Pujya Doctor Swami.
