The Silver Jubilee of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in San Antonio, Texas, was a heartfelt celebration marking 25 years of devotion, unity, and community. From humble beginnings—when weekly services were held in devotees’ homes—the Satsang in San Antonio has blossomed into a vibrant mandir where generations have found peace, purpose, and connection through the blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and HH Mahant Swami Maharaj.
His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj consecrated the murtis on September 1–2, 2000, at the original mandir location, formally establishing the Satsang in San Antonio. A decade later, on October 9, 2010, Sadgur Pujya Doctor Swami performed the Murti Pratishta Vidhi for the current mandir, once again blessing the community and inspiring its continued spiritual growth.
The Silver Jubilee celebrations began on August 16, 2025, with Mahila Din, themed “Sacho Maliyo Che Satsang.” Women of all ages came together through soulful performances and heartfelt reflections, expressing gratitude for the gift of God and guru. Their devotion and unity reflected the strength and grace that have long helped shape the heart of the mandir.
On October 4, 2025, the community gathered for a Mahapuja—the centerpiece of the Silver Jubilee celebrations. Devotees filled the mandir with prayers, devotion, and memories of the 25-year journey, celebrating not only a milestone but also the shared spirit that continues to guide the community forward. As Pujya Krishnaprem Swami beautifully expressed: “God hungers for devotion. One is measured not by wealth, but by the sincerity of one’s heart; through your heartfelt devotion, God has become pleased.” He further shared, “All that we have belongs to God, and it is only to Him that we offer it; through this Rajat Jayanti, our devotion itself has become our offering.”
The Silver Jubilee was a reminder that while the mandir stands as a place of worship, its true foundation lies in the hearts of devotees who have built it with love, seva, and unwavering faith. The mandir also continues to serve as a pillar of community service—bringing people together to give back through annual walkathons supporting local charities, health fairs, food and blood donation drives, and countless acts of seva that uplift the wider community. This celebration not only honored the past 25 years, but also set the stage for the mandir’s continued role in inspiring faith and service for decades to come.
