With the blessings of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, Pujya Priyasevadas Swami and Pujya Bhaktiswarupdas Swami embarked on their Satsang vicharan (spiritual tour) across South America from November 25 - December 4, 2025. This vicharan was specially organized to bring the values of Hinduism to devotees living far away, offering them renewed spiritual strength, cultural pride, and a deeper connection to Sanatan Dharma.

During this vicharan, the BAPS Swamis visited four countries including Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Chile, and Panama. In each place, they conducted Satsang sabhas (spiritual assemblies) that encouraged spiritual growth, and moral living. Each assembly began with kirtan-bhakti (devotional singing), filling the atmosphere with heartfelt bhajans which created a deeply devotional and uplifting spiritual mood. Drawing from the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, Pujya Priyasevadas Swami shared thoughtful discourses that helped us empathize with Arjun to see how his struggles are like our own. He explained how we can rise above similar challenges through endurance, a steady mind and a strong connection with God. He also shared practical examples to show how to stay spiritually grounded amid the pressures of modern life.

Highlights:

Trinidad & Tobago:
In Port of Spain, Pujya Swamis graced a satsang assembly of over 75 devotees, where heartfelt kirtans and uplifting discourses deepened everyone’s faith and connection to satsang. Devotees were especially touched to see how practical the Bhagavad Gita is and how its teachings speak directly to their daily lives.

Guyana:
Pujya Swamis’ visit to Georgetown was marked by a Satsang sabha with over 125 attendees. During the sabha, the swamis warmly welcomed Amit Telang, the High Commissioner of India to Guyana, along with Dr. Ashani Singh, the Finance Minister of Guyana. Deeply moved by the spiritual discourses, Dr. Singh shared that the messages inspired him to do his very best in his financial role, seeing this as a way to truly fulfill his dharma (duty) to the country. He also echoed the event’s core message that people should always put God first and recognize divine grace in every success, rather than getting lost in the chaos of purely material pursuits.

Chile:
Pujya Swamis’ third visit to Santiago was met with great joy as they conducted a Satsang sabha with over 80 devotees. During the assembly, Francisco, a local resident, was deeply moved by the devotion he witnessed and offered his heartfelt bhakti by accompanying the singing of bhajans on the tabla. Pujya Swamis also blessed the homes and businesses of devotees in the area.

Panama:
In Panama, Pujya Swamis began their vicharan with a focused spiritual assembly, inspiring them to strengthen values of seva(service), unity, and steadfast Satsang in their daily lives. Panama also served as the final stop of this vicharan, where the swamis graced a grand sabha of over 200 devotees. Pujya Priyasevadas Swami delivered discourses based on Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami’s Swamini Vato, offering powerful guidance for living a steady, value-centered life, while Pujya Bhaktiswarupdas Swami spoke especially to the youth on how to preserve their Hindu identity and maintain unity amongst one another.
