During March, based on this year’s United Nations theme for International Women's Day, ‘Accelerate Action’, the BAPS Women's Central Office organized programs at BAPS centers in towns and cities throughout India titled, ‘Path of Progress – Attainment’.
Young and senior women presented inspiring speeches, thematic dances, and yoga performances, and participated in discussions on a variety of spiritual and cultural topics.
During the assemblies, girls who had memorized all the Sanskrit verses from ‘Satsang Diksha’ and ‘Siddhant Karika’ were honored along with their mothers.
Many dignitaries also attended the special Women's Day assemblies organized across India. The dignitaries praised the diverse social services conducted by the BAPS and expressed their reverence towards Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj and present Guru Mahant Swami Maharaj.
At the end of the International Women's Day assemblies, prayers were offered for the girls memorizing the Satsang Diksha text under the ‘Mission Rajipo’ project to earn the blessings of Mahant Swami Maharaj.
Similar celebrations were held by the Women’s Wing at BAPS centers in North America, the UK, Africa and the Asia Pacific.
