Following Mahant Swami Maharaj’s historic 2025 ‘Aksharbrahma in the Pacific’ vicharan in the Asia Pacific region, over 1,000 balaks and balikas from across Australia and New Zealand gathered in their own centers for a special shibir titled ‘Apne Yad Karva’.
The shibirs, organized to preserve and deepen the spiritual impact of Swamishri’s momentous visit, helped the children to connect with the power of their smrutis of Swamishri’s vicharan in a way that nurtured their faith in and understanding of satsang, and their bond with the Satpurush.
Based on the four key themes of smruti, samp, bhajan, and niyam, the shibirs provided a holistic spiritual experience through engaging speeches tailored for children by BAPS swamis, creative activities to help the youngsters connect to the topics, and breakout groups in which the children shared their own reflections and thoughts on the various themes.
This thoughtful approach enabled the children to turn their precious memories of Mahant Swami Maharaj’s historic Asia Pacific vicharan into simple, practical tools for their day-to-day growth in satsang.
The shibirs not only revived their memories, but also guided and inspired the children on how to sustain these memories in their daily lives, transforming ‘Aksharbrahma in the Pacific’ into ‘Aksharbrahma in my Heart’.
