BAPS swamis participated in the  two-day educational conference, ‘Think Tank’, organized in  Kumbhalgarh by the Rajasthan Education Department. The conference brought together eminent educationists, policy experts, and senior government officials to reflect on the future of education in the state.
On behalf of BAPS,  Jnanananddas Swami, delivered the keynote address in which he emphasized the significance of value-based education as envisioned in the National Education Policy, drawing upon the insights of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and  Mahant Swami Maharaj. Highlighting the role of character, service, self-reliance, and moral values, he emphasized that true education must go beyond knowledge and skills to nurture responsible citizens.
During a meeting with Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar Ji, Dr. Jnanananddas Swami also discussed BAPS’s initiatives such as the Integrated Personality Development Course (IPDC) and  ‘Chalo Adarsh Banie’ (Let Us Become Exemplary).
In his address to the gathering, Shri Madan Dilawar Ji said: “Education is the soul of any nation. Only when we impart learning enriched with values, ethics, and culture will we succeed in nurturing responsible and committed citizens for the future.”
The sessions over two days covered a wide range of themes, including enhancing educational quality, linking education with employability, integrating technology into learning, and exploring innovative approaches for the modern era.
Among the senior dignitaries who participated in the conference were Shri Vishwamohan Sharma (IAS), Shri Harish Ladda (Joint Secretary, IAS), Shri Surendra Singh Rathore (MLA, Kumbhalgarh), Shri R. R. Vyas (Secretary, Gujarat Secondary Education Board), Dr. Karnail Singh (Additional Director), Shri Pawan Jaimin (Joint Secretary, Revenue, IAS), Shri Krishan Sharma (Joint Secretary, Budget, IAS), Shri Krishan Kunal (IAS), Dr. Atul Kothari (National Secretary, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, New Delhi), Shri Sita Ram Jat (Director, IAS), Smt. Shweta Phagadiya (Director, RSCERT), Shri Sharad Sinha (HoD, NCERT), along with several noted academicians and subject experts.
This initiative by the Rajasthan Education Department reflects a forward-looking commitment to not only raise the quality of education, but also to ensure it is deeply rooted in values and holistic growth; an effort that has been widely appreciated by participants and stakeholders alike.
