On Sunday 13 July 2025, Anant and Radhika Ambani, accompanied by Mukesh Ambani, visited BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden, London, to seek blessings on the weekend of their first wedding anniversary.
During their visit, the family took a deep interest in the Mandir’s sacred architecture and intricate carvings, marvelling at the artistry, devotion, peace and values reflected throughout the iconic place of worship.
Mukeshbhai also affectionately recalled his memorable meeting with His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, sharing his deep appreciation for the spiritual legacy he had witnessed.
Anant and Radhika, Mukeshbhai’s son and daughter-in-law, joined in prayers together and participated in darshan of the sacred images. They also performed abhishek – a special water-offering ceremony – to Shri Nilkanth Varni (the teenage form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan), which symbolises inner purification and the offering of reverence. The ceremony allowed them a moment of quiet reflection and connection with the divine, in keeping with the serene and spiritual atmosphere of the Mandir.
The family also took the opportunity to learn more about the global humanitarian, cultural and spiritual initiatives of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), including its commitment to values-led living and community service. They particularly appreciated the efforts in Paris after seeing the model of the upcoming BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir, the first traditional Hindu temple in France, noting the collaborative efforts between ancient Indian traditions of religious architecture and modern French methods of cutting-edge engineering.
Before departing, Mukesh Ambani expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who had helped make the visit so memorable for his family and deeply appreciated the spirit of selfless service and spirituality that define BAPS and the Mandir.
