Led by BAPS volunteers in healthcare across the UK and Europe, the BAPS wellNESS initiative is dedicated to empowering the South Asian community to take control of their health and well-being. This holistic project focuses on four essential pillars of healthy living: Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, and Stress Management.
Starting in September 2024, the BAPS wellNESS initiative has been holding a monthly series of webinars on a range of health-related topics.
Each webinar features qualified health professionals who share evidence-based advice, practical tools, and lifestyle strategies that are tailored to the values and teachings of the BAPS Swaminarayan fellowship. In addition to expert-led talks, the interactive question-and-answer sessions that follow have proven especially popular, generating engaging discussions and enhancing the learning experience for participants.
So far, the topics covered in the webinar series include:
▪ Nutrition: A Path to Better Health
▪ Understanding Diabetes
▪ Move Better, Feel Better
▪ Prioritising Your Heart Health
▪ New Beginning: Forming Good Habits
▪ Sleep Well, Live Well
