On Saturday, June 24, 2023, the women devotees of BAPS Canada orchestrated a magnificent celebration called 'Symphony of Self: Orchestrating Inner and Outer Harmony.' This program explored the multifaceted aspects of harmonious living, uncovering the secrets to cultivating harmony within ourselves, others, and the world around us. The event's focal points were mindfulness, connection, and sustainability, which came together to create a symphony of self resonating internally and externally. The occasion not only honored the strength and courage of women but also emphasized the significance of physical, spiritual, intellectual, and interpersonal well-being.
As the program unfolded, taking the audience on a captivating journey through the Symphony of Self: Orchestrating Inner and Outer Harmony, attendees were encouraged to pause and reflect on the transformative experiences that brought them together.
The event came alive with vibrant performances, including traditional dances and captivating live music featuring a diverse array of instruments. A yoga session allowed attendees to engage in various asanas, experiencing a sense of peace and harmony within themselves. Thoughtful speakers shared their personal experiences and perspectives on harmony, unity, and reciprocity while highlighting the essential theme of self-care alongside service to others.
Moreover, the conference shed light on the pressing climate change issue and its consequential impact. Attendees learned how, as a community, we can reshape our actions to combat this global challenge.

The Hon. Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence, said, 'It is such a privilege for me to be here to celebrate 50 years of BAPS community service in Canada with all of you here Today. Seeing you all here Today to gather as women for this conference at the BAPS is absolutely inspiring.'
'You're breaking down the barriers. You are leading. You are representing. As strong women leaders in the BAPS and the broader Canadian community. And let me just say that your volunteerism, your initiatives from walkathons to building places of worship to raising funds for local hospitals and organizing community [health] fairs and more are absolutely critical to this community. And they represent Canadian values. They represent being here for our neighbours when they need us most.'
'And this conference here Today shows the importance of continuing the work to empower women of Today and tomorrow. And I salute the BAPS community for remembering and celebrating the role of women leaders in our country. Canadians are so grateful to have you here.'
Smt. Apoorva Srivastava, Consul General of India in Toronto said, 'Today I want to recognize the BAPS volunteers for your selfless service. I want to recognize the commendable work that BAPS has been doing for the last 50 years.'
'Whenever there's a crisis or a need for help, BAPS is one of the first organizations to take the lead. Whether it's a pandemic or setting up a vaccine clinic or giving food to people in need or helping the students. When we needed to evacuate 22,000 Indian students from the Ukraine, we looked towards BAPS to help them to provide them food and accommodation.'
'Every time I come here I get inspired by the work you all have been doing. It makes me a better person to see how all of you work for the betterment of the community. Thank you and keep on inspiring.'
