To commemorate Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Ram’s birth celebrations, women devotees gathered at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandirs across North America to pay homage to the lives of these great avatars and the timeless values they lived by.
With the upcoming opening of the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham mandir in Robbinsville, NJ; the program, themed ‘Akshardham: Inspirer of Change,’ highlighted the values and teachings inspired by Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Ram, and how the mandir will endure and propagate their timeless legacy. The program explored the modern-day relevance of the universal values they exemplified, the role of spiritual teachings as well as the pathway to moksha as established by Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
Women of different ages participated in the celebrations, offering their loving bhakti through cultural performances, inspiring speeches, animated video presentations, and even waterless fasts to honor the life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Ram.
